About the author

M. D. (Peggy) Roblyer is a retired instructional design professor and textbook author who helped usher in the world of technology in education the 1990s, becoming prominent for shaping this new discipline in the online era. In a career that spanned nearly 40 years, she authored a dozen Pearson Education textbooks, including Integrating Educational Technology into Teaching, which became the best-selling text in the field when published in 1996 and remains so today in its ninth edition. Her forthcoming memoir Strong Glass, to be published by Apprentice House Press in 2026, is her first non-academic book.
She and her husband Bill Wiencke, also a retired educator, are proud parents of a daughter, Paige, a public defense lawyer. In addition to writing, Peggy is absorbed by travel, fiber crafts, water aerobics, and walking the “Scenic City” of Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she lives with Bill.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seller includes online access code :)
I was very pleased that this seller actually did include the online access code as stated in their description... a $40 value in itself, were it purchased separately on the textbook website. (Whether or not it is included is always a risk with used books.) The book also arrived promptly. Definitely the best deal for this text that I could find.
