The second seminar in Nellie's Seminar Series 2004 will feature three presentations as follows:

  1. 13:00 - 13:50 Colorful language tasks for young learners
    Presenter: Yumiko Akeba (Cambridge University Press)
    Target: Teachers of Children aged 6-10.
    Language: English.
    Abstract: American English Primary Colors is a new course for young learners. Written by established experts in the field, the course not only introduces children to English though fun games and activities but also encourages children to think about the world around them. This makes language learning a meaningful and memorable cultural experience.
  2. 14:20 - 15:10 The Wonders of the ABC KIDS SYSTEM
    Presenter: Mari Yamada
    Target: Teachers with an interest in ABC KIDS SYSTEM
    Language: Japanese
    Abstract: The days of stressing over lesson plans and teaching materials are gone. ABC KIDS SYSTEM will make learning and teaching English fun at the same time keeping the educational value. Let the author guide you through and show you the brilliance of ABC KIDS SYSTEM.
  3. 15:40 - 16:30, a repeat of the 14:20 - 15:10 presentation.
