Description:
For July, we decided on a less "heavy" topic since the summer heat makes most of us think about slowing down and taking it "slow". Therefore, we are going to discuss the "Slow Food" movement. According to the slowfood.com website, "slow food is an international association that promotes food and wine culture, but also defends food and agricultural biodiversity worldwide." This may seem to be a little serious but it is not a "heavy" topic. Regardless the topic, our members are great at taking anything and making it an enjoyable time for everyone. So, don't worry, relax and enjoy. We will take it in a "slow" way. Our meeting will be organized as follows: During the first part of the meeting, we will share general ideas about the topic. Next, we will have a short interactive exercise dealing with the theme. In the final part of our meeting, we will spend some time working on a learning strategy.
