Description:
The 2001 Iwate JALT Conference and Book Fair is a perfect opportunity for ESL teachers, ALTs, and anyone interested in English. Check up on the latest English books and teaching materials while hearing some of the best speakers on English education the country has to offer. Don't miss it!! Nakata Ritsuko, author of the popular Let's Go! series will discuss teaching English to children (the presentation will be in Japanese). Ms. Mary Lee Field will talk about encouraging and developing reading skills. These presenters are sponsored by Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press, respectively, two of the many publishers and booksellers who will be present at the book fair. Other relevant presentations will be held throughout the day.
