The JALT Hokkaido Winter Language Conference 2027

Description:
The Hokkaido JALT Chapter welcomes submissions for 50-minute presentations, 20-minute presentations, and poster presentations. (Presentations will be face-to-face and on-site only. They will not be accepting abstracts for on-line or hybrid style formats.)

Important dates:

  • The deadline for submissions is 11:00 pm on Friday, November 13, 2026.
  • Acceptance notifications will be announced by midnight on Sunday, November 29th, 2026
  • There will be a networking social get-together in the evening at 18:30 on Wednesday, February 10th.
  • There will be a full lineup of presentations and publisher displays on Thursday, February 11th. Tentative times are 10:00 - 16:00.

This conference will be held near the end of the Sapporo Snow festival (Feb. 4-11)! This is a great chance to catch this fabulous event. Be sure to book your hotel early.

Cost: JALT Members: Pre-registered: 1,000 yen; At the door: 2,000 yen
Non-members: Pre-registered: 3,000 yen; At the door: 4,000 yen (Students: free)

  3. Tell us what happens. I don't have MS Outlook on a Windows computer, so I can't test it.
  4. If you click on the icon and nothing happens, do this:
    1. Right-click on the icon and save the file.
    2. According to Microsoft's support page, in Outlook's File menu, you should click Import and Export.
    3. Click to select Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file (*.vcs), and then click Next.
    4. Click to select the vCalendar file you've just saved, and then click Open.
