Going back to college to earn extra qualifications and doing it as a distance student are double challenges not taken on lightly. They entail considerable financial and time investment. However, studying by distance has its own rewards and if the program is chosen carefully should be a life-changing positive experience. Join this forum discussion to hear about the experiences of two local teachers (now with Manchester University, UK and Queensland University of Technology, AU) about how to choose a program, how to balance study and life, how to find resources and most important of all – how to retain your sanity!
