Three Interesting Approaches for Improving the Quality of Your English Lessons

Speaker: Robin Manning, Tim Buthod, and Eleanor Kane (all from Hiroshima Bunkyo Women's University)

Description:
Three speakers will give mini-presentations, each exploring a successful curriculum that has been tested in his or her class. Robin Manning will present successful task-based reviews and assessment utilizing BINGO, movies, and other enjoyable themes in English Communication classes. Tim Buthod will discuss the results of an audio journal curriculum used with first-year language-majors. Eleanor Kane will talk about classroom management of Extensive Reading, drawing on her experience of having used graded readers successfully in various courses.

    4. Click to select the vCalendar file you've just saved, and then click Open.
