Shizuoka JALT:

When The Photocopier Is Down - Teaching Without Materials

Date: Friday, November 18th, 2005 Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Speaker: James Banner

Description:
This seminar offers dynamic alternatives to published course books and photocopied handouts, alternatives which involve the whole class in responding to and creating materials. This seminar is of special interest to teachers who want to appeal to learners who are kinesthetic and auditory, not just visually orientated. The presenter will introduce interactive dictation and board techniques that involve the whole class, encouraging communication across the range of multiple intelligences. He also presents stimulating and enjoyable writing exercises for the classroom that involve a minimum of preparation, a maximum of productivity.
