Oxford Kids' Club's inaugural Summer Camp features two days of intensive hands-on, teacher training workshops and a whole lot of fun with favorite Oxford childrens' authors. There are three weekends of workshops during August. This weekend's workshop leader is Setsuko Toyama. Setsuko will guide an investigation into what makes a successful learner, and show that all teachers possess a wealth of personal teaching resources that they can develop to meet the varied learning needs of their students. Participants will tap into their own knowledge and experience to create original songs, chants and activities, and will design lesson plans to ensure that English time a success.
Tuition covers a one-night stay at the Tokyo ANA Hotel in Akasaka, Summer Camp Banquet on that night, as well as breakfast and lunch on the second day. (Participants are responsible for all travel to and from the venue.) As part of the course tuition participants will also receive approximately 30,000 Yen worth of ELT materials, especially chosen by the course leader for use in the workshops.
