Hiroshima JALT:

Covenant Players: A Drama Workshop

Date: Saturday, September 28th, 2002 Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Speaker: Kurt and Cathy Purucker

Description:
Covenant Players is a professional theater company specializing in communications. Covenant Players fields touring troupes throughout the world. This Hiroshima JALT chapter meeting is a three hour drama workshop. We'll learn some useful tips for teaching our students how to communicate effectively in English not only with words, but also with body language and gestures. As teachers, having the knowlege of drama will enhance our own ability to teach students. Using drama in the classroom for students of English as a foreign language will enable them to feel comfortable and, at the same time, make learning and practicing English a fun and exciting experience. Please take note of the date, the starting time and location are not Hiroshima JALT's usual ones.
