Description:
Our next ZPD session is taking place on Tuesday, September 30th at 8pm. With the JALT Annual International Conference coming up, the conference planning committee will be hosting September's event. JALT2025 is the 50th anniversary of JALT as an organization. This year we will be coming back to Tokyo and we have a jam packed program from Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November 2. This ZPD will be all about this. Come with your questions and queries as will be looking to preview the conference and build networks as always.
JALT's ZPD (Zoom for Professional Development) is a monthly, 1-hour networking event with several themed breakout rooms, including orientation for new and potential JALT members, getting published, teaching online, and more. Please join us for networking, informal chat, and in building a community of practice with JALT members and prospective members. We'll break up into smaller groups to discuss those topics and, as usual, we will also have an orientation for new officers and new members, tips and best practices in teaching, getting published, Eikawa & ALT Issues, Online teaching, Hybrid teaching, PhDs and more.
