Let's Make a Homepage!

Date: Sunday, March 11th, 2001 Time: 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Speaker: Thomas McCarthy

Description:
If you can use a mouse and type, then you can make a homepage. Using a free service on the internet, we will make a simple homepage. In this presentation we will:

  1. apply for a free email address (if you don't have one already)
  2. apply for a free homepage
  3. use on-line resources to build and change our homepage
  4. discuss (very briefly!) what it means and how you can do more.

Participants are encouraged to bring ideas for what kind of homepage they would like to make (photo album, family history, resume, hobby....) We hope to have a scanner ready, so please bring pictures you want to put on your homepage.
