This course is made up of five evening seminars, held fortnightly in Tokyo during the Winter term (15 January, 29 January, 12 February, 26 February, 11 March). Teachers attending all the sessions receive a British Council Certificate at the end of the course. In this course, we will focus on how to analyse language before teaching it. We will analyse grammar and vocabulary particularly focussing on meaning, form, use and pronunciation. By the end of the course, participants will have a deeper understanding of what is involved in analysing language and should be more confident with teaching grammar & vocabulary. Areas covered will include, present perfect simple and continuous, future forms and simple noun phrases.
