Malcolm Harding, who hails from Great Britain, has been teaching in Okayama region for a number of years. He owns an immersion preschool in the Okayama city area and has a lot of experience with the use of testing and evaluation as a tool for helping with student placement, as a means of demonstrating growth to parents of students, as a means of providing a goal for some students, as well as for staff. Testing and evaluating have the potential to be a wonderful tool is used wisely. What mistakes and how to avoid them when using differing methods of testing and evaluating is sure to be something of interest to folks attending. There will be limited seating, so we are asking folks to Pre-register by sending an email to the regional group website with the subject: Pre-register.
