West Tokyo JALT:

How to Make Web Pages to Facilitate Learning and Teaching

Date: Saturday, June 22nd, 2002 Time: 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Speaker: Kobayashi Etsuo

Description:
This is a workshop where participants will learn how to make their own Web pages. We will learn basic HTML , how to put links to other pages and also how to use audio/video files on the Web. The pages you are going to make in this workshop will help you use various online resources in an organized way. You will not need to have your own directory in any server to send files to, because you will use a Web-making system called the New WebMaker developed by a research group of teachers at Rikkyo University and Mie University. The system was completed in 1999 assisted by a grant from the Ministry of Education and Science. You will be able to use the system even after the workshop from your own networked computer, as long as you can use a browser.
