Kagoshima JALT:

Having and Using Standards

Date: Sunday, February 26th, 2006 Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Speaker: Yayoi Aoki

Description:
The speaker will introduce some widely applicable lesson plans, or "standards". She will demonstrate how they can be used with students of various ages and different ability levels, in a range of class sizes, with only small changes made to these lesson plans. Ms. Aoki hopes that you will be able to add your own special touches to these "standards" to create your own original and enjoyable lessons.

About the Speaker: Yayoi Aoki has worked for a number of English Schools. Using her experience, she established her own school. She is presently involved in the development of an easy-to-use and fast-to-learn English course which she has named the "Crystal Clear Series." Ms Aoki has had many opportunities to trial the materials during her work as an AEA, which she has been doing since she was approached by the Kagoshima City Board of Education in 2002.
